1940 Winchester Model 1894 – .30 W.C.F. (.30-30 Winchester)

$650.00

1 in stock

Product Information:

This consigned 94 is a great example of a working gun. 86 years old and still going strong.

This Winchester Model 1894 lever-action rifle is chambered in .30 W.C.F. (.30-30 Winchester), one of the most historically significant sporting cartridges in American firearms history. Designed by John Browning and introduced by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1894, the Model 1894 became one of the most successful sporting rifles ever produced.

This example retains very little of its original factory finish, with the metal surfaces exhibiting a predominantly gray-brown patina consistent with age and use. The markings remain visible, and the rifle reflects the honest wear commonly encountered on working rifles that spent decades in the field. The wood furniture shows handling and storage wear appropriate to its age.

Features include:

  • Lever-action operation
  • Chambered in .30 W.C.F. (.30-30 Winchester)
  • Tubular magazine
  • Walnut stock and forearm
  • Steel receiver and barrel
  • Traditional iron sights

Rifles in this condition are often of interest to collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate original, unrefinished examples that display the character and history accumulated over many years of use. The remaining finish, patina, markings, bore condition, and mechanical function should be evaluated individually when assessing the rifle.
