Listed is a pre owned Colt Diamondback revolver chambered for .22 Long Rifle. This revolver is in very good condition overall. The blued finish remains throughout, with the bright shine of Colt’s royal blue. Along the top of the vented rib and the frame, there is some small spots of light pitting (see last 2 photos). The hammer and a small spot on the backside of the trigger also show some corrosion. A small turn line has formed on the cylinder from some light use. This revolver wears a handsome set of wooden Colt grips in very good condition aswell. The checkering remains crisp and sharp, however the flat bottoms of the grips do show a few small scuffs and scratches from normal handling and use. the bore of the 6″ barrel is bright and shiny. This revolver’s serial number (R42886) indicates it was made in 1978, therefore it is NOT C&R eligible. This revolver does not include a box or any factory papers, but does ship in a soft padded pistol rug.
