Listed is a pre owned Remington 788 chambered in 30-30 Winchester. This rifle shows some signs of use and handling throughout the years. The wooden stock is in good condition overall with a few heavier scratches and scuffs present. The toe of the stock and a small spot on the cheek well just behind the action show the most wear. The steel is in very good shape overall with some light scratches and scuffs. The date code on the barrel indicates a October 1967 manufacture date. The bore of the 22″ barrel is bright with good rifling. The bolt on this rifle has some light binding issues and sticks every now and again, and when pulled with force the bolt can slide out of the rear of the action. When pulled gently it doesn’t seem to have any issues.
The scope included with this rifle is a older Bushnell 3-9x scope. The glass is in usable condition but does show some light wear and yellowing of the glass from age.
This rifle includes one magazine and a soft case, but no box or papers.
