Listed is a pre owned Winchester Model 12 chambered in 12 Gauge for 2 3/4″ shells. This shotgun is in excellent condition but does show signs of a refinish/restoration. The wooden furniture shows some small handling and storage marks, but no cracks, chips or large spots of damage are present. The buttstock is equipped with a hard plastic Boyd butt plate. The blued steel was refinished very well, all the stampings are crisp and deep and very visible. There are a few small spots that have started to fade form light use since the refinish, and a few small spots of wear show through under a bright light. The bore of the 30″ barrel is bright and shiny. The serial number (282521) pulls up a manufacture date of 1921 from the Winchester Collector’s website.It is a fixed full choke. This shotgun would make an excellent shooter as the action is smooth and locks up well.
