Just received this blast from the past, a Detonics Combat Master, aka, The Original Mini 1911.
Purchased from a retired LEO, this DCM has homemade grips, a squared trigger guard, extended slide release and an interesting homemade rear sight that replaced the original S&W J-Frame adjustable sight that was too delicate for the rigors of law enforcement.
The paperwork consists of an owner’s manual, Combat Masters pamphlet, Scoremaster pamphlet, Accessories pamphlet and an envelope with the Detonics letterhead.
