Build Sheet, Springfield Rail Gun, s/n NM244262
- Completely detail frame and slide
- Fit Caspian Slide to oversized frame
- High cut under rigger guard
- Hand-checker front strap 30lpi
- Modify mainspring housing for lanyard loop, silver solder in place
- Hand-file beveled mag-well
- Fit standard length checkered magazine catch, relieve to prevent tapping magazines
- Install EGW machined slide stop serrate on bottom at 40lpi
- Fit S&A beavertail grip safety, high sweep
- Fit BM styled thumb safety, set detent, de-horn and radius as needed
- Best quality trigger job using Wilson Combat hammer, sear, & disconnect, set at 4#
- Fit medium length solid aluminum trigger
- Flatten & serrate slide top at 30lpi broad arrow pattern
- Blend rear of frame and slide
- Install Heinie Slant-Pro rear sight with .125″ notch, reshape and modify for one-handed operation, serrate at 40lpi, wrapped edges
- Install .110″ wide dovetail front sight, blend to slide, serrate at 75lpi
- Add 24K Gold Line insert to front sight
- Serrate rear of slide at 40lpi and blend to rear sight
- True breech face
- Machine feed-ramp to correct dimensions
- Machine vertical impact surface release
- Fir Kart match grade barrel, crown @ 20°, chamber for 45ACP
- Fit EGW stainless steel barrel bushing, beveled edge
- Fit EGW square bottom firing pin stop, radius as needed
- Fit bar-stock extended ejector
- Complete 1911 dependability package including Wilson “Bulletproof” extractor, polish feed ramp, throat barrel, polish breech face, chamfer firing pin hole
- Machine frame dust-cover to desired length, 3 rail slots
- Machine slide for ball cuts
- Lower and flare ejection port – clearance for live round ejection
- Fit and stake bar-stock plunger tube
- Complete Wolff spring set including 16# recoil spring and 23# main spring
- Complete hand-filed de-horning
- Detail prep pistol, satin matte blast
- Parkerize and matte blue complete pistol
- Shortened stock screw bushings to prevent binding
- Fit standard thickness EraThr3 logoed G10 stock panels
- Number and index stock screws; odd numbers on left, even numbers on right, low number on top
- Zero @ 25 yards with 230gr FMJ
