Original price was: $6,500.00.$5,250.00Current price is: $5,250.00.
Product Information:
Listed is a pre owned Smith & Wesson Model 29 No Dash chambered in 44 Magnum. This revolver is in outstanding, collector’s grade condition.
The original bright nickel finish has a mirror like polish with only the absolute lightest of handling wear visible. There is a very small, light turn line formed on the cylinder, but it is likely from handling as there is no carbon or burning on the finish that indicates the revolver ever being fired. The wooden grips retain goo, crisp checkering with some small handling marks, especially on the flat butt of the grips. This revolver has the 6.5″ barrel, target hammer, and target trigger.
Included with this revolver is a copy of the original invoice (dated March 2, 1961, matching the records for the revolver) to the dealer who sold this revolver brand new, J L Galef & Son in New York, New York. It was one of four of a kind in his order, with an original dealer cost of $86.06. A list of the serial numbers on the invoice is also included. The hard copies are embossed with the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation logo. The serial number is highlighted on the scanned copy in the listing but not on the originals. This revolver also includes a wooden display box lined with blue fabric, and includes all of the cleaning tools. The wooden case shows some small scratches and small scuffs from handling and storage over the years.
