Listed is a pre owned Smith & Wesson Pre Model 29 chambered in 44 Magnum. This revolver is in excellent, collector’s grade condition.

The original deep blue finish has a mirror like polish with some very light handling wear visible. There is a small turn line formed on the cylinder from very gentle use at some point in its life. The wooden grips retain good, crisp checkering with some small handling marks. There is a very small chip on the left hand grip at the very top near where the frame slopes down to the backstrap. This revolver has a 4″ barrel, target hammer, and target trigger.

Included with this revolver is a copy of the original invoice (dated July 9th, 1958, matching the records for the revolver) to the dealer who sold this revolver brand new, Mr. Charles Greenblatt in New York, New York. It was one of ten like it in his order, with an original dealer cost of $86.06. A list of the serial numbers on the invoice is also included. The hard copies are embossed with the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation logo. The serial number is highlighted on the scanned copy in the listing but not on the originals. This revolver also includes a small black Smith & Wesson marked case, and includes all of the cleaning tools. The case shows some small scratches and small scuffs from handling and storage over the years.
