Just in from Nighthawk Custom is a Colt Combat Commander (SKU O4942XE) that has had a full package of work making this 1911 a shooter’s dream. With a new DLC finish, match grade enhancements to the trigger, the addition of a magwell, as well as a complete dehorn for carry, there’s everything to make the perfect commander 1911. Included is the original blue Colt box, a new Nighthawk Custom black pistol bag, one Colt 9 round flush base magazine, two Nighthawk Custom 10 round base pad magazines, the Custom Shop test target, and an Archive Letter of the work completed.
The following work was completed by Thomas Berry at the Custom Shop:
- Front Strap checkered to 25LPI
- Serrate Slide Top
- Fit thick match grade bushing and spring plug
- Complete reliability and action tune
- Match grade trigger enhancement job with NHC ignition components (medium solid trigger)
- Installed and blended one piece Falcon magwell
- Install beavertail safety and single side thumb safety
- Flush/ Reverse Crowned Barrel
- Complete Carry Dehorn
- Black DLC finish with polished flats
- 24K Gold Bead front sight
- Heinie Ledge black rear sight
- Complete testfire and zero @ 12 yards
