Listed is a pre owned Winchester Model 12 chambered in 12 Gauge for 2 3/4″ shells. This shotgun is in good condition for its age with signs of honest field use. The wooden furniture shows many scratches, scuffs, and small dings throughout, however no chips or cracks are present. High contact areas such as the grip and hand guard show some light varnish thinning/loss. The original butt plate has been replaced with a Redhead brand rubber butt pad. The blued steel shows wear and thinning on most all of the edges, with some scratches and scuffs as well. There is some light freckling on the receiver and barrel near the receiver as well. The bore of the 30″, fixed full choke barrel is bright with a couple of very small spots of older freckling near the muzzle. Ther serial number indicates that this shotgun was made in 1953.
