Remington Frame & Colt Slide 1911 — circa 1918. Vintage early-pattern 1911 with historic roots; has been re-chromed and fitted with faux stag grips (not original). Mechanical and lockup solid, functions fine. Great for display, shooter or restoration project where originality isn’t required.

Condition

• Mechanical: Good — cycles and locks up; hammer, sear, and safeties function correctly.
• Cosmetic: Chrome was done in the past, light scratches but overall it looks good —  Roll marks on both sides are deep and fantastic
• Collectability note: Because the gun has been refinished and fitted with non-original grips, it will not fetch the same premium as a factory-original, unaltered 1911 from 1912. Ideal for display, practical shooter, or a restoration project if you want to attempt returning it toward originality.
