Just in from Nighthawk Custom is a Colt Combat Commander (SKU O4940XE) that has had a full package of work making this 1911 a shooter’s dream. With a new DLC finish, match grade enhancements to the trigger, the addition of a magwell, as well as a complete dehorn for carry, there’s everything to make the perfect commander 1911. Included is the original blue Colt box, a new Nighthawk Custom black pistol bag, one Colt 7 round flush base magazine, two Nighthawk Custom 7 round base pad magazines, the Custom Shop test target, and an Archive Letter of the work completed.
The following work was completed by Steven Cox at the Custom Shop:
- Front Strap checkered to 25LPI
- Serrate Slide Top
- Fit thick beveled tactical bushing and spring plug
- Complete reliability and action tune
- Match grade trigger enhancement job with NHC ignition components (medium solid trigger)
- Installed and blended one piece Falcon magwell
- Install beavertail safety and single side thumb safety
- Crowned Barrel
- Complete Carry Dehorn
- Black DLC finish with polished flats
- 24K Gold Bead front sight
- Heinie Ledge black rear sight
- Complete testfire and zero @ 12 yards
