Listed is a pre owned Webley & Scott Model 700 chambered in 12 Gauge for 2 3/4″ Shells. This shotgun is in very good shape overall with some signs of honest use and wear.
The wooden stock shows some small scratches, scuffs, and small dings form honest use. There is no chips, cracks, or other major damage beyond some light cosmetic wear. The blued steel barrels shows some light thinning on the finish near the muzzle and chamber end. The receiver shows similar wear on the high contact areas, especially on the sides and edges of the bottom of the receiver like it had been carried with the action open.
The bores of the 28″ barrels are bright and shiny. They are fixed choke, with a constriction of .002″ (SK1) on the left barrel and .014″ (SK2) on the right. It has a swamp rib on top as well as a single bead. It features double triggers, a checkered butt, and ejectors as well.
The stock has the following measurements, as shows on the small paper slip that was included in the case: LOP 14 7/8″, 1 3/8″ and 1 3/4″ for comb and heel. It is a slightly cast off straight grip meant for a right handed shooter. A serial number of 143469 indicates this shotgun was made in 1973.
This shotgun includes a leather carrying case, and a strap for the case. It does not include a manual or any other accessories.
